Our bands’ success is due in no small part to the support of volunteers who donate their time to fundraising and the community at large who support us financially. We thank all of our supporters, without whom much of what we do would not be possible.

TAG Day will take place on Saturday, September 16th.  On TAG DAY, small groups of students, accompanied by parents, will canvas major Grafton School Zone neighborhoods.  They will go door-to-door asking for a tax-deductible donation to the Grafton Band in support of the many concerts, events and opportunities that the band provides for the students.  The families offering donations will be given a “Tag” with the dates of the marching band performances and concerts throughout the school year.  The “TAG” will also indicate what their donation could fund for the band—anything from a uniform cleaning to paying the entrance fee into a competition. This fundraiser will require a massive amount of support from the band parents and band students.  We are looking for 100% participation from the students. For more information, visit our TAG DAY page.

Fruit Sales will be held from late September through October. Order forms and envelopes will be provided to students in class. Please ask your customers to pay at the time of order, as all money must be sent in with the order. Students should place their sealed fruit sales envelope (with name and phone number NEATLY written on it) in the big black foot lock in the band room by the white boards. Order due date is yet to be determined, and fruit will be delivered to the high school in mid November. Your participation in this fundraiser benefits the entire band; selling fruit is easy and does not take much time. Family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors all love fresh Florida fruit; it makes nice gift baskets at Thanksgiving, too! If you have any questions, please send emails to

Local Sponsorship Program is for local business advertising. Local businesses that step forward to support our band in one of three tiers will enjoy many benefits including advertising in several ways garnering more exposure for their company and business in the community. We are ever appreciative of the financial support from these local businesses as their support directly and immediately impacts the band, it’s activities, instruments, and musical programs in a very positive way.
